A world leading manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer based at their site in Witham. You will be working for a business who are the leading and go to engineering partner for all of today's innovation leaders within the power industry. The company have invested and continue to invest in new machinery and in this role, you will support the implementation of this machinery and new manufacturing processes. If you have previous experience of working as a Manufacturing Engineer with a knowledge of Injection Moulding , then this could be the career move you have been waiting for.

• Hours 7.30am to 4.35pm - Monday to Thursday, finish at 1.10pm on Friday

Duties:

• Support injection moulding processes and the implementation of new manufacturing processes , new equipment, procedures and systems
• Undertake root cause analysis of process failures and support team with more complex machine breakdowns.
• Attend process stoppages, eliminating obstacles and reducing any downtime in production
• Define the best manufacturing method for the process and document standard work and drawings.
• Identify areas for improvement to processes to increase productivity

Skills and Experience required:

• Must have a technical qualification in mechanical, industrial or electrical engineering
• Injection Moulding experience is essential, familiar with tooling and injection moulding manufacturing methods
• Mechanical Engineering experience is a requirement with basic mechanical assembly, use of hand tools and hand measuring equipment beneficial
• Able to read technical instructions, engineering manuals and other technical documentation.
• Must have an awareness of Lean Manufacturing
• 3D CAD, Creo or similar experience would be preferable
• Must have excellent Mathematics skills and good excel and data management skills
