Teaching Assistant

Academics are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) to work full-time in a welcoming and supportive school in Blackburn.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and lesson and material preparation.
• Assisting with basic literacy and numeracy tasks for small groups of students.
• Providing 1:1 support for students with SEND needs.

What we need from you

• An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS update service
• 3-6 months Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a school setting
