The School and Role

We are currently looking to recruit a confident and eager Early Careers Teacher (ECT) to work in a friendly primary school in the Northumberland area. Working as part of an established team, the desired ECT will be based within the Key Stage 2 unit. Some of the children have SEND and are working at a lower ability and therefore will require some one on one support. This is a large school and offers a lot of support and learning opportunities. The role will be full time, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am 3.30pm. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.

Requirements

The desired Early Careers Teacher (ECT) will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children, ideally within Key Stage 2
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
• QTS within the UK (or near qualifying)
