Building Surveyor

I'm looking for a Building Surveyor to join a small dedicated team that works on a variety of exciting projects for high-profile clients across the UK. You'll gain exposure to both professional and project-based surveying work while playing a key role in driving the team's success.

Your responsibilities will include

• Managing key client accounts and fostering strong relationships.
• Identifying new opportunities and supporting business development efforts.
• Preparing reports such as due diligence, feasibility studies, and maintenance recommendations.
• Conducting building inspections, analysing defects, and recommending repairs.
• Delivering schedules of dilapidations, reinstatement cost assessments, and specifications of works.
• Administering contracts, valuations, and certifications.
• Advising on Health & Safety and CDM regulations.

Requirements

• A degree in Building Surveying and relevant industry experience.
• MRICS qualification with post-qualification experience (private practice preferred).
• Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to generate and deliver new business.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage instructions from start to finish.
• Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, NBS, and Microsoft Office.
• A proactive and adaptable attitude, with a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
