Kitchen Assistant - Packaging Assistant

We are recruiting a Kitchen Assistant / Packaging Assistant for a small production kitchen, making handmade bites and snacks, using fresh and organic ingredients.

Would you like to be part of a small friendly production kitchen, working Monday to Friday, from 08.00hr 16.30hr (or possibly 7-3.30 / (phone number removed)h). Transport will be required for this role due to location.

As Kitchen Assistant / Packaging Assistant within this production team , the role, will involve assisting with the production across the current range of bites and snack products, to include:

• Assisting to make the products and the packaging of these products
• Keeping the production kitchen clean and tidy to assistant the production chefs
• Helping to complete production records
• HACCP planning
• Help with stock control
• Packaging of products and ingredients
• Be a hands on team player
• Ensure procedures and standards are adhered and followed, to ensure kitchen and food cleanliness / hygiene is maintained

The salary for the vacancy of Kitchen Assistant / Packaging Assistant within this production kitchen is given as, from GBP11.50hr to GBP12.00hr (GBP23,920 to GBP24,960 per annum) for a 40 hour contract, Monday to Friday, and ideally the shift hours will be from 08.00hr to 16.30hr. Transport will be required for this role due to location.
