About the Role

We are seeking a confident and experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to manage a busy caseload within a collaborative residential property department. This office-based position offers the opportunity to become an integral member of a friendly and professional team.

Conveyancing Paralegal Responsibilities

  • Progress conveyancing transactions through all stages from instruction to completion
  • Prepare comprehensive draft contract papers with precision and attention to detail
  • Address sale enquiries promptly and effectively
  • Coordinate and process property searches with appropriate urgency
  • Manage exchanges and completions, including drafting completion statements
  • Prepare SDLT forms and Land Registry applications accurately
  • Handle post-completion matters with diligence and thoroughness
  • Provide clear and accurate information to clients via telephone and written communication
  • Utilise the firm's case management software efficiently
  • Support colleagues across different office locations through digital dictation systems
  • Assist with reception duties occasionally during lunch periods or absences

Conveyancing Paralegal Requirements

  • Proven experience in residential conveyancing procedures and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong administrative and organisational abilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proactive approach to work with the ability to anticipate departmental needs
  • Strong professional initiative balanced with receptiveness to supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Confidence in managing a varied and demanding workload
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
