Health and Safety Advisor


Principal People are pleased to have partnered with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a new Health and Safety Advisor to the QHSE team.

Based at their site near Norwich, you will be joining an innovative organisation that produces products globally for a range of markets from food and drink to beauty and healthcare. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with and learn from an experienced team.

As Health and Safety Advisor, you will:
  • Carry out internal audits to ensure QHSE compliance.
  • Work alongside operational staff to ensure safe working practices.
  • Collaborate with the wider QHSE team to complete risk assessments and investigations where required.
  • Engage with staff and develop relationships to help promote a positive safety culture.
  • Support the QHSE Manager in the management of quality and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Practical experience in a similar Health and Safety role.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification, or working towards this.
  • Experience working within quality and environmental is desirable.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to engage and work with staff at all levels.
