Engineering Tutor

We are looking to recruit an Engineering Tutor on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week at our Wythenshawe Campus.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Relevant occupational sector experience and relevant qualifications, and/or current updated CPD.
• Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience of coaching to support learning.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload.
• Electrical knowledge and experience.

Job Specific Skills:

• Coaching - able to deliver high quality, effective coaching that meets learner needs.
• Communication - excellent level of skills in written and oral and presentational areas, understanding the importance of focus on the audience to support learning.
• Planning - attention to detail and a track record in developing and delivering robust, effective, prioritised plans which achieve KPIs and strategic aims.
• Performance - proactively driving performance and engagement.
• Customers - ability to present Total People in a positive manner, persuading and influencing where necessary.
• Continuous improvement - seeks to improve processes and implement and embed changes.
