SEN Teaching Assistant High Peak, SK - 105 per day Mon - Fri, 8:30 - 16:30 ASAP Start

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant with experience supporting SEN learners ? Long-term futures are proudly working with a specialist primary and secondary school in High Peak (SK23) , supporting children with autism and associated social and communication needs.

In this role, you will work closely with learners in 1:1 or small group settings, helping to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where everyone feels safe and supported.

Due to the location of this role, it would be advantageous to have access to your own vehicle to reliably commute.

What will my role involve?

• You will have a positive and long-lasting impact on pupil outcomes, helping to provide bespoke and tailored support ensuring they can thrive and develop their self-esteem .
• Provide support to students in small groups or one-to-one
• Look after children's physical , social , and emotional welfare
• Watch, record, and report the progress students make

How can I be successful?

• You'll have previous experience supporting young children in classroom environments.
• Ideally, you'll have experience working directly with young children with autism, along with managing their associated needs and/or difficulties they may face.
• You'll be patient , flexible and able to handle difficult situations as they arise with a calm and caring
