About the Role:
Wilson Recruitment is currently seeking an Enhanced DBS Food Service Assistant to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. This exciting opportunity is based in Long Buckby, Northamptonshire. The role offers flexible and consistent hours from Monday to Friday, with a competitive hourly rate.

As a Food Service Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of food service areas, providing high-quality service to customers, and assisting with food preparation and delivery. The successful candidate must hold an Enhanced DBS check and ideally have a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to customers.
Ensure all food items are prepared and presented to a high standard.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in food service areas.
Assist with the setup, clearing, and tidying of food service stations.
Adhere to food safety and health & safety regulations.
Ensure all equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored properly.
Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and feedback.
Key Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check (essential).
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential).
Previous experience in a food service or catering environment is beneficial.
A keen attention to detail and a passion for food safety.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work under pressure.
Desirable Attributes:
Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety standards.
Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
A proactive approach to learning and improving service delivery.
