Role Overview

We are looking for an ambitious Trainee Accountant to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to build a career in accountancy, gaining experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and advisory services. Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements
• Supporting the completion of tax returns, VAT submissions, and payroll processes
• Conducting reconciliations and ensuring financial records are accurate
• Engaging with clients to gather financial information and address queries
• Assisting in audit assignments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
• Analysing financial data to provide insights for business decision-making
• Staying up to date with accounting standards and industry developments

Who We Are Looking For

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field (or relevant experience)
• An analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn financial software
• Commitment to obtaining a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
