Senior FPA Analyst, Private Equity-Backed R&D, Central London, £80-85k + Bonus We're exclusively partnering with a leading, private equity-backed company that's dominating its market. As The Senior FP&A Analyst you will play a key role in supporting the business by delivering high-quality financial insights, enabling strategic decision-making, and driving financial performance. You will be responsible for internal reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring financial data is accurate, transparent, and actionable. It is a hands-on position, requiring strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to enhance financial processes and systems. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling processes, ensuring robust and accurate projections aligned with business objectives. Management Reporting: Deliver insightful commentary and analysis on management reports, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities. Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide meaningful commentary to support decision-making. Strategic Support: Work closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights that drive commercial decision-making. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with key internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and commercial teams, to ensure financial data is understood and utilised effectively. Systems & Process Improvement: Enhance existing reporting processes and utilise financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. Private Equity Reporting: Support the Finance team with reporting requirements and insights for private equity stakeholders. Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide financial analysis and scenario modelling to support key business initiatives and investment decisions. Essentials: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Relevant FP&A experience in a global, multi-entity business. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels Desirables: Spanish speaking Microsoft Dynamics experience
