A new opportunity has arisen for a Bench Joiner to join a busy manufacturing company based in Stoke.

The company specialise in commercial joinery so any experience in bespoke joinery including staircases, balustrades, acoustic panelling etc

Producing a wide range of bespoke items including a few examples as follows: Bars, Seating, Counters, Shop fittings, Solid surface works, Timber works internal and external, Windows/doors and shopfronts, specialist feature items such as wall panels/screens/ ceiling features.

The successful candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of traditional methods, while able to incorporate our modern methods.

To be considered for the position of a Bench Joiner, you must have demonstrable experience using hand tools and woodwork machinery.

In addition, the following key skills and experience are essential:

• Experience with woodwork machinery
• Experience with hand tools
• Must be able to work in a team, also on their own
• Strong attention to detail
• Pride in work and bench joinery
• Ability to understand our standard process
• Able to read and understand working drawings
• Understanding of standard industry health and safety

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools and power tools to construct and assemble wooden structures and fixtures.
• Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute projects efficiently.
