Electrical Fitter - The Role:

• Construction of large, automated electrical equipment

• Installation of equipment at customer locations worldwide

• Reading engineering drawings

• Testing, fault-finding and diagnostics of electrical equipment

• Ownership of the designated build area to maintain acceptable housekeeping

Electrical Fitter - The Person:

• Hands-on experience of electrical equipment assembly or machine building

• Experience of using hand and power tools

• MEWP & FLT qualification advantageous, training can be provided

• Ability to solve problems

• Competence in Microsoft office desirable

• City & Guilds, ONC or HNC qualification in electrical engineering discipline

• Apprentice training is desirable, as is 18th Edition certification

• Professional manner, able to represent the company

• Self-driven, keen to accept responsibility and accountability

• Ability to travel worldwide

• Full, UK valid driving license & Passport

You MUST be flexible for international travel. All Engineers are expected to spend 3-4 periods per year on site, for 3-4 weeks at a time

Engineers in this team have a direct route to develop into a Manufacturing Technician, Controls Technician, and further into Control Systems Engineer.

Located in Shropshire, this role is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
