Mechanical Fitters - The Role:

• Assembly of mechanical systems and equipment following engineering drawings
• Completing work as part of a team and autonomously

Mechanical Fitters - The Person:

• Hands-on experience of mechanical equipment assembly or machine building
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Ability to complete mechanical inspection
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of using various hand tools
• Have sound knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Self-motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks
• Keen to accept responsibility and accountability
• Professional manner, able to represent the company to a high standard
• Basic tool kit required, supplemented by company tool allowance schemE

Vacancies are available in 2 sections of the business - international travel will be required in the systems team up to 4 times per year; whereas no international travel is required for the site based positions.

You will join a GBP27M turnover business who actively foster a supportive environment. Each project is bespoke with it's own challenges. We are looking for innovative and dedicated Engineers who are keen to use their skills to their full potential.

Located in Shropshire, this role is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford
