Sales Order Processor



We are working closely with a manufacturing company in the Newcastle under Lyme who have a position for a Sales Order Processor. They are seeking candidates who have excellent attention to detail and accuracy to ensure all customer orders are correct. The Sales Order Processor will be responsible for completing checks and final audits of orders before they reach the production stage.

Duties for the Sales Order Processor:
  • Complete initial checks of orders to ensure all enclosed information relating to the order is correct
  • Ensure detailed audits of the sales enquiry are completed, including checking of technical drawings and company quotes. A final check of the order must be completed before it is sent to production.
  • Input orders into their system
  • Support customers with general queries
  • To act as a point of contact for internal departments for queries relating to the sales orders
Requirements for the Sales Order Processor role:
  • Order processing experience is essential within an office environment
  • Must have experience from within a manufacturing background
  • Be able to read technical drawings
  • Paying meticulous attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills to confidently liaise with customers and internal departments
  • Time management skills
  • Must be able to use in-house systems and MS Office
Hours: Monday Friday 8:30 pm 5:00 pm
Salary: GBP27,000 GBP29,000 Per Annum
