Electrical Inspector

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with an electrical background to join a fantastic M&E team.

Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP55,000, excellent benefits & pension

Responsibilities:

• The Electrical Inspector will be responsible for overseeing electrical services, maintenance, installations and parts of complex capital works across organisational stock.
• Responsible for ensuring electrical compliance for the full local authority portfolio.
• Prepare reports as required.
• Work with contractors and consultant partners, colleagues and residents to ensure that customer involvement and resident satisfaction is at the core of the decision-making process and delivery of services.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in a similar role within a social housing provider or local authority.
• In depth knowledge of regulatory standards and responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills, able to liaise between contractors, consultancies, residents and other stakeholders.
