IT Service Manager


Our client, a growing top 40 accountancy firm has a fantastic opportunity to join their team in either of their offices - Farnham or Oxford. This is a hybrid role.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Managing the firm's IT helpdesk team
  • Co-ordinating and managing software updates, ensuring systems remain secure and compliant
  • Improving resolution times and implementing strategies to improve efficiencies.
  • Monitoring KPI's
  • Providing high level technical support and guidance to resolve complex IT issues
  • Overseeing the maintenance and management of IT systems and conducting regular audits to create improvements.
  • Ensuring all IT practices are compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Reporting on helpdesk performance, system updates and project progress to senior management

You will need to have a full UK driving licence and be comfortable travelling to other offices as required.

About you:

  • You will have worked in a similar role and have strong experience managing IT service and supplier strategies, ideally within an accountancy or professional services firm.
  • You will have managed staff and be comfortable managing performance.
  • You will have solid experience in managing suppliers and you will be proficient in software management, systems maintenance and technical troubleshooting.
  • A university degree, ideally in computer science or another IT related subject is essential
