Mechanical Technician (Pumps) Aberdeen

A leading engineering business is currently recruiting for a Fitter/Technician to join their team on a Permanent basis.

The Fitter will ensure all work is undertaken in a cost effective manner, identifying areas of improvement to reduce the cost to the company whilst maintaining quality.

You will be involved in;

• Dismantle and record dimensional findings and detailing any faults
• Liaising with Technical quality team to advise of repair requirements
• Repair of components e.g.; fitting and pinning wear rings, bush, pressure testing and dynamic balancing
• Assembly of basic pump types in line with the inspection report and work instructions
• Compiling reports as required in line with company procedures and processes
• Support a safe and tidy working environment

You will have;

• Previous experience assembling and inspecting rotating equipment such as Pumps/Motors/Generators
• C&G minimum qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• You will be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and good attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of health and safety requirements

The role is working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (overtime is available). This is Permanent role which offers salary 43,226 plus opportunity for overtime.
