We are working with a well-established law firm in Maidstone looking for a Legal Cashier Assistant to join their Financial Operations team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the Finance department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial processes that support the firm's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily transactions through the firm's office and client accounts, including entering and authorising payments, posting payments/receipts, and registering disbursement vouchers.
• Ensure compliance with the firm's policies and SRA (or relevant Law Society) accounts rules at all times.
• Process card payments, BACS, and Faster Payments through the bank and internal systems.
• Handle payment and allocation of invoices within internal systems.
• Respond to client queries promptly and professionally.
• Manage incoming calls and post.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations for purchase ledger and client accounts, adhering to SRA rules.
• Collaborate with solicitors and support teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Support overseas offices with compliance to local Bar Association accounts rules.
• Review and allocate bank statement entries and resolve unidentified receipts.
• Assist internal and external clients with financial queries.
