Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer - Working with a Water Softeners manufacturer
Location: Sheffield and further
Starting salaries between GBP27K and GBP29K plus overtime, van and fuel card

In this role the new Field Service Engineer will mostly be attending well known coffee franchises, reacting to water softener repair enquiries. You will inspect the water softener box, diagnose issues, and repair on site.

Because of this we are looking for someone with good critical thinking skills . Experience wise the right person will have with some sort of light mechanic skills - So our perfect person would be an individual that fixes cars as a hobby for example!
Ultimately, we can train on potential!

For further context: Water softeners are devices designed to remove minerals, primarily calcium and magnesium ions, from hard water through a process called ion exchange. Commercial systems in this case are fairly large.

Requirements:

Drivers license
Ability to stay away 1 night per week (Hotel and food fully covered)
Light mechanical ability
