Project Design Engineer (ROV)

We are currently seeking a skilled Project Design Engineer with ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) design experience to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen.

Role Overview:
As a Project Design Engineer, you will take the lead in designing and developing cutting-edge ROV systems and components. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure that project specifications are met and designs are executed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ROV systems tailored to client requirements.
• Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to align project goals and objectives.
• Conduct design reviews and simulations to validate concepts and improve designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations throughout the design process.
• Support the integration of ROV systems with other subsea equipment and technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Design Engineer, preferably with a focus on ROV design.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and subsea technologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks) for design and modeling.
• Experience managing projects from concept to completion in a technical environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• A relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience in subsea engineering.
