We are currently recruiting for a Night Maintenance Engineer , to join the team at our client, based in Halifax

They are a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of PVC products

This is a permanent vacancy. You will be a direct employee, from day one.

Salary details & package

• GBP48k per annum

• Free onsite parking

• 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)

The Role Night Maintenance Engineer

As a Night Maintenance Engineer , you will be responsible for ensuring all machinery is kept in a state of good repair in accordance with current legislation, maintaining the company s excellent reputation for safety & compliance. This will be achieved through both reactive and Pre-planned maintenance

Liaise with the production team regarding installs, decommissions and testing to ensure the smooth running of operations.

The Candidate

• Strong practical and legal knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical maintenance

• Good communication skills

• Helpful; Can-Do attitude

Must have:

• Previous experience within a production environment

• Ability to read & understand technical drawings

Desirable:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering

• Experience with MIG & Stick welding

• Knowledge of extrusion & blending machinery
