Job Title: Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic

Location: Gateshead

Hours: Monday to Friday

Annual Salary: GBP34,000 - GBP50,000

Our client, a highly regarded specialist in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance, is looking for a skilled, experienced, and qualified Trailer Mechanic to join their team at the Gateshead workshop.

Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of vehicle maintenance tasks, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical servicing and repairs.
• Address running defects, conduct diagnostics, and carry out complete vehicle overhauls.
• Prepare vehicles for MOTs and present them for testing when necessary.

Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic Requirements

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Demonstrable experience working with trailers.
