  • Salary: 85 - 95 per day, dependent on experience
  • Temporary Contract, ongoing position
  • Full Time Vacancy (8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)

SEN Support Assistant Specification
We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Support Assistant for a full-time job in a SEND School in the Bromsgrove area, working with a lovely primary Special needs class.

To be considered you must have experience working as a SEN Support Assistant and an expert knowledge of the SEND school curriculum, along with a caring and nurturing approach to your work.

  • You must be a qualified SEN Support Assistant - ideally level 3 or equivalent
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the UK SEND school system
  • Be able to nurture and support young children with SEND
  • Ideally have worked for at least 12 months within Special Needs
  • Safeguarding level 1 trained
  • DBS on the update service
  • Autism/PMLD/SLD/MLD/Complex needs experience
  • Dedicated to supporting young SEND learners

The school is looking for a SEN Support Assistant

The school looks after children at Primary level with a range of special needs, focusing on severe and complex Autism and physical disabilities. As such, it's crucial that you have a strong background in working within an SEN school and are ready to assist multiple students with diverse needs.

This is a specialist setting, and has children aged between 3 - 11 years old all with learning, and additional needs. You will work within the classroom, providing individual attention focused support to learners.

If you are proactive, engaging, and have a natural ability to connect with children, this role could be a great fit for you.
