Maintenance Electrician

Key Areas of Responsibility • Ensure the smooth running of the distillery plant. • Perform necessary reactive maintenance and update the maintenance management system (Maintainx) with completed work and follow-up tasks. • Complete scheduled PM tasks, review and develop PM procedures, and ensure the availability of necessary spares. • Book out and identify spare parts required for maintenance tasks. • Record all work and time spent on tasks in the CMMS system (Maintainx). • Achieve desired plant performance targets. • Engage in company and site-driven initiatives. • Safety Reporting: Report any near-miss or safety concerns. • Attend daily production meetings as required. • Conduct RCA where applicable. • Maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment. • Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to minimise downtime. • Electrical Upgrades: Implement electrical upgrades and improvements to enhance plant performance. Education / Work Experience : Electrical Qualification with some Mechanical knowledge. Experience working within a high volume maintenance environment. Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues to minimise downtime. Flexible in approach and able to adjust to changing priorities, confidence and ability to work well under pressure and make decisions. Prioritises health and safety in all tasks. Excellent communication skills
