Job Title: Semi-Senior Accountant
Location: Worcester
Salary: Up to GBP32,000 per annum

Are you an experienced accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Worcester, is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual with a background in practice to develop their skills in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Assisting with tax computations, VAT returns, and management accounts
Supporting senior accountants in delivering a high standard of client service
Liaising with clients and responding to queries efficiently
Assisting with audit assignments where required
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes within the firm

Requirements:

Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
AAT qualified or working towards ACCA/ACA qualification (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
