About the Role:

As a Supply Primary Teacher , you will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality teaching standards across multiple schools. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. This position is ideal for teachers who value variety, adaptability and the opportunity to work across different year groups.

Key Responsibilities of the Supply Primary Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 , following school plans and curriculum guidelines.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different classroom environments and pupil needs.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils and maintain excellent behaviour management.
• Mark and assess pupils work following school policies.
• Provide high-quality teaching and learning support across various primary settings.
• Work effectively with school leadership, support staff and fellow teachers.
• Embrace flexibility, adapting seamlessly to new classrooms and school cultures.

Supply Primary Teacher requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary education.
• Be adaptable, resilient and confident in delivering lessons across different year groups.
• Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate pupils.
• Be highly organised, with the ability to work independently in new school settings.
• Be available for a minimum of four days per week to ensure continuity and reliability for schools.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
