Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and complex needs? Do you want a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference in students' lives? GSL Education is currently seeking a full-time Complex Needs Support Worker to work within schools and other educational settings in Lincoln.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting children and young people with complex needs, including profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, and complex medical needs.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualised learning and care plans tailored to the specific needs of each student.
• Assisting with the management of behaviour within the classroom, using de-escalation techniques and supporting positive behavioural strategies.
• Helping students access the curriculum and support their personal, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Working closely with medical professionals to ensure students' physical and emotional needs are met.

Role Requirements:

• A qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field (Level 3 Diploma or equivalent).
• Experience working with children or young people with complex needs in an educational or care setting.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting students overall development and well-being.
• A DBS registered to the update service or the willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
