Cover Supervisor

Location: Bourne
Salary: GBP90 - GBP110 per day
Start Date: Easter 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Bourne. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to gain classroom experience.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain on task.
• Deliver pre-planned lesson materials across different subjects.
• Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
• Provide support to students, answering questions and facilitating their learning.
• Assist with general school duties when required.

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• The ability to engage and motivate students.
• A proactive approach with excellent communication skills.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire .
