We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join our team for exciting and large-scale Reinforced Concrete (RC) projects in the Cambridgeshire area. As a key player on-site, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality construction works within a safe and compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day management of RC project sites, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Conduct site surveys, set out, and provide accurate technical guidance.
Supervise and monitor the quality of construction works, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, standards, and health & safety regulations.
Coordinate with the project manager, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure smooth project progress.
Maintain accurate records, including daily site reports, progress reports, and material deliveries.
Provide technical support and solve on-site issues related to engineering and construction.
Liaise with the client and other stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships.
Requirements:
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally with a background in RC projects or similar civil engineering works.
Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and engineering standards.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on-site.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve challenges.
Proficient in using engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).
