My client, a highly successful accountancy practice, are looking to add a Practice Accountant to their team to aid with their continued growth plans.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Practice Accountant:

• Managing your own broad portfolio of clients
• Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual accounts, Payroll preparation
• Handling client, HMRC and other third party associated queries
• Working with Client Managers and Director to improve processes

Required Skills and Qualifications of the Practice Accountant:

• ACCA/ACA qualified is highly desirable, however Part Qual or QBE considered
• Previous experience within a practice environment is essential
• Proven payroll experience
• Strong IT skills and prior use of Xero is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to nurture strong colleague and client relationships

My client is offering a salary of 30,000 - 40,000 depending on experience
