Our client is a successful, privately owned IT company based in the Worthing area. They have an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking IT Field support Technician to join their expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress within a successful, well established company offering continued training and development. The role will involve a combination of on-site client work (mainly within East and West Sussex), and being based at the company's offices. A company car and mobile phone are provided with this position.

As an IT Field Support Technician you will provide crucial onsite technical support and consultancy to the businesses clients. This role involves managing a portfolio of approximately 15 clients, with the expectation of visiting up to three clients daily to offer both proactive and reactive support. You will be the primary contact for these clients, fostering robust relationships. Additionally, when you are not visiting clients there will be periodic assignments based at out offices.

For this IT Field Support Technician position:
To be considered for this position you must have previous experience and knowledge in using the following:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2016 to 365, particularly Outlook.
• Experience with Server 2016/19/22 administration, including Active
• Directory and Group Policy.
• Skills in network troubleshooting, including hardware, topology, and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with client/server applications, desktop OS installations, and configuration.
• Competence in hardware troubleshooting and a thorough understanding of desktop environments (Windows, MacOS, Google Chrome OS).
• Knowledge of Bromcom and Arbor is advantageous.

Package:

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, 1-hour lunch
Salary: Basic salary 31,100
