Cabinet Maker/Joiner

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cabinet Maker to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and joinery, with the ability to fabricate high-quality cabinets and furniture. This role requires attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials and tools.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications for custom cabinetry.
• Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and assemble wood materials.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed to transport materials and finished products.
• Execute joinery techniques to create strong and durable connections between components.
• Fabricate cabinets and other furniture
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools are stored properly after use.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on the job site.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar role within carpentry or woodworking.
• Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders.
• Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and woodworking principles.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for liaising with clients and other tradespeople.

Hours of work are 6AM - 4:30PM Monday to Thursday.

Pay rate - 14 H/R

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 weeks

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
