Installation Engineer

We re hiring for an Installation Team Leader to join a growing engineering company based in Glossop that delivers large-scale installation projects across various industries.

This is a hands-on role where you ll lead a team, ensuring seamless installations while upholding high standards of quality, customer service, and professionalism.

What s on offer?

• GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 per year
• Monday Friday 8:00am 6:00pm (dependent on project)
• Additional payments for weekend and bank holiday work
• Daily allowance for working away
• Mileage payment when using your own vehicle

What will you be doing as an Installation Team Leader?

• Leading on-site installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
• Overseeing project resources, tools, and materials from pre-installation to final sign-off
• Conducting site acceptance tests and delivering operator training
• Working closely with customers and internal teams to maintain strong communication
• Reading and understanding technical drawings for installation projects
• Supporting commissioning engineers with I/O testing and variable speed drive setups
• Ensuring all site activities adhere to strict health and safety standards

What do you need?

• A strong electrical background with a working knowledge of mechanical systems
• Proven leadership experience managing teams on large installation projects
• Ability to work away from home, including weekends and public holidays
• A full UK driving licence
