CompEx Electrician (ATEX/DSEAR) Hazardous Area Specialist

Location: Manchester
Salary: GBP48,000 - GBP52,000 + Benefits

NEOS are working with a well respected Engineering company in the North West who are looking for a CompEx Electrician to join their specialist team delivering electrical installations and maintenance in hazardous areas. This role primarily focuses on projects within the water industry , with additional work in the energy and manufacturing sectors .

• Carry out electrical installations and maintenance in ATEX environments
• Ensure all work complies with BS7671: 18th Edition & BS60079
• Maintain a high standard of safety and compliance in hazardous areas
• Work collaboratively within a team of industry specialists

Essential:

• CompEx Ex01 Ex04 (Gas & Vapours)
• NVQ Level 3 (Maintenance or Installation)
• 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations
• City & Guilds 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing)
• Industrial experience
• Valid UK driving license

Desirable:

• CompEx Ex05 Ex06 (Dust)
• PASMA, IPAF, IOSH, CCNSG certifications
