Commercial Gas Contract Manager

My Client are seeking a Commercial Gas Contract Manager to join our team within the social housing sector . This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of gas services, ensuring that all gas maintenance, installation, and repair works are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of gas contracts, social housing requirements, and a commitment to high-quality service delivery for our tenants.

Key Responsibilites:

• Contract Management:
  Oversee the full lifecycle of gas-related contracts, including installation, maintenance, and emergency repair services within the social housing sector. Manage the performance of contractors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, timelines, and budgets.

• Budget and Cost Control:
  Develop and manage budgets for gas-related services, ensuring efficient cost control and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.

• Compliance & Safety:
  Ensure all gas works comply with relevant health and safety regulations, including Gas Safe standards, and industry best practices. Monitor and report on compliance, addressing any issues promptly to maintain high safety standards.

• Client and Stakeholder Liaison:
  Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including local authorities, tenants, housing associations, and internal departments. Maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors, providing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.

• Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  Monitor contractor performance, preparing regular reports on service delivery, KPIs, and quality standards. Ensure that performance reviews are conducted regularly, and corrective actions are implemented when necessary.

• Risk Management:
  Identify potential risks associated with gas services, proactively mitigating issues related to contract performance, health and safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Procurement and Tendering:
  Assist in the procurement process for gas-related contracts, including drafting tender documents, evaluating bids, and ensuring value for money.

• Team Management:
  Lead and support the gas services team, providing guidance, mentoring, and training to staff members to ensure they meet the required standards.

• Customer Service & Tenant Satisfaction:
  Ensure that gas services meet the needs of tenants, addressing complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

They are offering a basic salary of between 55,000- 60,000 depending on expereince with full competitive package.
