The Company

My client are a privately owned main contractor, based in NW London.

They traditionally focused on Prime and Super-Prime residential property and hotels, interspersed with mixed use schemes, commercial, and community buildings.

Responsibilities :

• Sourcing construction materials for projects, (Drylining, Fixings, Steel, Wood materials etc)
• Sourcing relevant services for projects (Concrete, skips, tool, plant & site accommodation hire / purchasing)
• Close communication with site agents & suppliers.
• Organised and good book keeping such as updating excels with information etc.
• Knowledge of relevant suppliers, services & materials.
• Good knowledge in construction and standard procedures.
• Good IT skills, (Excel, Outlook etc).
• Bonus if got experience in logistics and transport.
• Bonus if worked for a builders merchant.
• Bonus if have knowledge in M&E materials (plumbing/electrical/AC/ventilation)
