Quantity Surveyor - Industrial Warehouse

My well established Client is urgently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on site 3 days a week, working on industrial warehouse projects . This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic company specialising in the construction and development of logistics hubs, distribution centres, and industrial warehouses .

Key Responsibilities

• Cost management & budgeting for industrial warehouse projects.
• Preparing bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation.
• Evaluating and managing subcontractor contracts and procurement.
• Conducting site valuations and cost control reporting .
• Managing risk assessments and value engineering .
• Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure cost efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations and contractual obligations .

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in industrial or commercial construction .
Strong knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts .
Experience with cost planning, forecasting, and reporting .
Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Excel).
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
MRICS or working towards RICS accreditation (preferred).
