Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A well-established food production company is seeking a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join their engineering team. This role is crucial in maintaining and optimising production equipment across a large-scale manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, installations, and breakdown repairs.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Support plant modifications and scheduled shutdown maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, motors, pumps, actuators, and conveyors.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency breakdown support.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Electrical & Mechanical qualifications (Level 3 preferred, 18th Edition desirable).
• Additional certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, or Forklift (beneficial but not essential).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Shift Pattern & Benefits:

• Panama Shift (42 hours per week).
