Assistant Accountant
to join the Finance team of a leading manufacturing business based in
West London
Reporting to the Head of Finance
, reporting directly to the
Head of Finance, Accounting & IT

Key Responsibilities
-
Accounts Processing:
Record payments, receipts, and daily transactions in
SAP ERP (FICO module)
-
Ledger Maintenance:
Keep bank ledgers up to date and perform
monthly bank reconciliations
-
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Process
AP invoices (purchases & OPEX)
and manage
cash collection activities
-
Master Data Management:
Maintain accurate records for products, vendors, and customers
-
Month-End & Reporting:
Assist with
month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
and prepare
balance sheet & P&L variance analysis
-
Revenue & Intercompany Reconciliation:
Ensure accurate revenue recognition and reconcile
intercompany balances
-
Cash & Credit Management:
Monitor
weekly cash positions
, prepare
payment runs
, and manage
credit control & outstanding balances
Additional Responsibilities
-
Support projects led by the
GL Accountant
-
Participate in finance team meetings and collaborate across departments
-
Provide prompt and professional responses to accounting queries
What We're Looking For
-
Part-qualified
(ACCA/CIMA)
-
3-5 years of accounting & finance experience
-
Strong knowledge of
SAP ERP (FICO module)
and
advanced Excel skills

Highly organised
, detail-oriented, and proactive
-
Strong
communication & interpersonal skills
