Job Title: Operations Manager - Children's Residential

Location: Penrith, UK

Salary: 68120 per annum

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team at a children's residential facility in Penrith, UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with a focus on children's residential services. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's residential facility
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the facility
  • Manage and lead a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Monitor and maintain the budget for the facility
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to provide the best possible care for the children
  • Handle any issues or concerns that may arise, including safeguarding and risk management
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on the facility's operations and performance
  • Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the services provided to the children and their families

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a children's residential setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards for children's residential services
  • Ability to handle and resolve conflicts and issues effectively
  • Proficient in budget management and financial reporting
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Passion for working with children and providing them with the best possible care
