As an English Teacher at this secondary school, you will have the opportunity to inspire students to develop a love for literature and language. We are looking for a candidate with excellent classroom management skills, capable of fostering a positive and focused learning environment, even in challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and effective English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Implementing strong behavior management strategies to maintain a productive classroom environment
• Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Encouraging student participation and fostering a love for reading and writing
• Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to support their academic growth

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level
• Strong classroom and behavior management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
• A passion for English literature and language
