Waste Collection LGV2 Driver

Thrive Group are recruiting for Class 2 Refuse Drivers on behalf of our client based in Gloucester. This role will be on an ongoing temporary basis with the opportunity for temp to perm.

Pay: 16.58 per hour

37 hours paid per week

Hours: Monday to Friday 06:45 - 15:00

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• To drive the waste and recycling vehicles in a safe manner, following a-planned route (this will involve lots of careful driving and reversing)
• Undertake daily checks of the vehicle
• Assist with vehicle loading as and when required
• Ensuring the vehicle remains compliant with transport legislation

Skills & Qualifications:

• LGV licence (Class 2 licence)
• Full clean driving licence
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Knowledge of transport operations
• Prepared to work outdoors in all conditions
• Flexible to working hours
• Be fit and able to lift heavy objects
