Role - Power Press Operative

Location - Bradford

Shifts - 6am-2pm/2pm -10pm/10pm-6am (YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL 3 SHIFTS)

Pay - 13.49 for Double days 25% uplift for nights

Start - ASAP

Typical Responsibilities will include:

• Working on Power Presses up to 40 tonnes
• Installation of tooling, setting of the Power Presses and ancillary equipment in line with SMED principles
• Carrying out quality control procedures and keeping accurate records of measurements
• Identifying non-conforming parts and instigating product isolation procedures when necessary
• Trace and correct running faults on the Power Press
• Reporting breakdown and/or maintenance issues to the Production Management team
• Packaging and storage of finished products
• Maintaining housekeeping standards and organising/participating in the timely removal of scrap

Knowledge, skills, and experience required :

• Experience working with Power Presses in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Conversant with using measuring equipment
• Good level of literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good eye for detail

Desirable Qualifications - (willing to train the right candidate)

• FLT counterbalance
• PUWER Power Press Certificate
