• Pay: GBP90 a day

The School and Role:

An Alternative Provision school based in Portsmouth are currently seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to start with them from March. The school caters for Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Many children also have a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Attachment Disorders, Anxiety and Speech and Language delay. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will be required to work 1-1 or in small classes, assisting pupils academically as well as overcoming barriers to learning and supporting them emotionally.

The Desired Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience of working with children in an educational setting
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND/SEMH/challenging behaviour
• A passion for the progress of pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
• Full driving license
