Trainee Classroom Cover Teacher

Salary: GBP100 - GBP110 per day (depending on experience and/or qualifications)

As a Trainee Classroom Cover Teacher , you ll step confidently into the classroom and lead lessons for up to 30 students in the absence of their usual teacher. Don t worry you don t need to be a subject specialist! Lesson plans are always provided in advance.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and facilitating the learning of pre-planned lessons.
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe, positive learning environment.
• Taking accurate attendance registers.
• Providing a handover for the class teacher.

This role is ideal for those looking to gain hands-on experience in schools before applying for Initial Teacher Training (ITT) .

We re seeking enthusiastic individuals with a passion for education who are:

Previous experience in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential we ll train and support you every step of the way!
