The Candidate- Multi Skilled Shift Engineer

You will be a time served Engineer and/or have obtained a qualification of NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

Experience within the Food & Drinks sector

Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems

Experience of fault finding with industrial machinery

Experience of interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings

The Role Multi Skilled Shift Engineer

Ensure Health & Safety best practices are carried out in all work activities

Assist with the development and implementation of Group Engineering standards for the business and ensure compliance at all times.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.

React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.

Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements to the management team.

Be able to communicate and cooperate with colleagues at all levels to achieve goals and maintain product quality.

Liaising with external suppliers and contractors
