Cost Accountant

Our Ledbury based client is seeking a Cost Accountant on a temporary basis to support this small finance team during a busy period.

This is a temporary position with an immediate start and would suit a candidate seeking a short-term position, although those candidates considering a permanent role are encouraged to apply as this position has the potential to develop into a longer-term project.

What you can expect:

• Salary: 40,000+ per annum, depending on experience
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (reduced hours considered)
• Immediate start on a temporary basis following an initial interview period
• Weekly pay
• Holiday pay accrued throughout the assignment
• Rural location - own transport essential

What you will be doing:

• Management accounts and analysis responsibilities
• Cost accounting
• Month end preparation
• Cashflow and budgeting
• Xero
• Working closely with a Finance Manager to support up to and beyond year end

What we are looking for:

• Management accounts experience
• Cost accounting experience
• Proficient across financial functions within a small business
• Xero experience preferred, although not essential as system training will be provided
