Job Type: Part time, 2-3 days per week.
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our clients finance team. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of the company, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial advice to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage month-end and year-end accounts.
• Conduct cash flow analysis and support WIP reporting.
• Oversee financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee cash flow and financial risk management.
• Develop financial models to support business planning.
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting systems.
• Liaise with external tax professionals for taxation matters.

Qualifications & Experience

• Professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Sage 50 or higher is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• High integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
